Does Jody’s Popcorn accept donation requests?
Jody’s Popcorn is very committed to giving back to the communities in which our team members live. We get a lot of requests, so we have adopted a policy to make it easier for you. Please see our Guidelines for Contribution Requests page for more information.
Who should I contact for press and media requests?
For Press and Media inquiries, please contact Jody herself at: firstname.lastname@example.org.
How do I change my member address/e-mail/log-in/password?
Log in using your current member e-mail and password. Select from the update options available in the menu on the left. Use the Update Account link to change the email address associated with the account.
Is the web site secure?
Yes, Jody’s takes precautions to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and offline.
Wherever we collect sensitive information (such as credit card data), that information is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way. You can verify this by looking for a closed lock icon at the bottom of your web browser, or looking for "https" at the beginning of the address of the web page. While we use encryption to protect sensitive information transmitted online, we also protect your information offline. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, billing or customer service) are granted access to personally identifiable information. The computers/servers in which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.
Will I receive an order confirmation e-mail?
We will automatically send you an e-mail confirmation as long as you have provided us with a valid e-mail address. You will also receive a tracking number via e-mail once USPS or Federal Express has picked up the shipment. To ensure that you receive all of our emails, please add email@example.com to your address book or trusted sender list.
What type of payment do you accept?
We accept MasterCard, Visa, Discover, Diners Club and American Express credit cards. You may also pay online using a valid Jody’s Gift Card.
Does Jody’s Popcorn ship to Canada?
To ship to any city in Canada, please contact our Customer Service Representative at (866) 797-JODY (5639). Please have your Canadian recipient postal code ready when you call and a we will be happy to provide you with a shipping quote!
Orders are shipped via Federal Express or USPS. Duties, taxes and/or broker’s fees will apply and will be included in your shipping costs.
Does my order ship on the day I place the order?
If your order is received by 3 PM EST, it will ship the next business day via the method selected during checkout: Ground, Second Day or Next Day Air. Personalized and Drizzled Popcorn products, however, will need a minimum of at least one week lead time before shipment.
Can I ship or have my order delivered on the weekend?
Jody’s does not ship popcorn over the weekend; Federal Express Residential Service and the USPS both deliver on Saturdays to residences.
Does Jody’s Popcorn ship internationally?
Except for Canada, we do not generally ship internationally. If you have a specific need, please contact our Customer Service Representative at 866-797-JODY (5639) and we will try to assist you.
Do you ship outside the continental United States?
Yes, we ship to Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico. Additional charges apply.
Will a signature be required for Delivery?
A signature is not required for delivery. Both Federal Express and the USPS may leave your order at the front door.
Can I use Gift Cards in the Jody’s Oceans 31 Store (Virginia Beach) and Online?
Yes, Gift Cards are redeemable in Jody’s Oceans 31 Store and Online. Jody’s Gift Cards are shipped via US Postal Service. They do not have an expiration date.
Does Jody’s charge sales tax?
Yes, sales tax is charged for Virginia deliveries.
Can I change or cancel my online order?
Yes, if you need to make any changes or cancellations to your online order, please contact our Customer Service Representative at (866) 797-JODY (5639) or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. If your order has already been processed, we will not be able to make any changes. Order changes may delay the shipment of your order to the next business day.
What issues or circumstances can delay my order?
An incorrect address, need to substitute a container, unavailability of the flavor of popcorn you ordered- we will make it for your order, but it will delay your order, and order changes, weather and Federal Express and USPS backlogs may delay delivery.
CORPORATE GIFTING FAQ
What are your tax exempt requirements?
An official document from your state of residence, or from the IRS, indicating the exempt status of your organization must be provided.
How long will it take for my order to be delivered?
Gifts generally ship ground, unless you select a different service. Transit times will vary based on your recipient's location and the shipping method chosen (Ground; 2Day Air; Overnight). Estimated delivery times are calculated on business days (Monday through Friday).
Jody's Gift Cards and gifts less than $25 will ship USPS only. The transit times for these items vary based on recipient location as well.
Orders with all necessary information included, received by 3pm EST, will be ship the next business day. Orders received after 3pm EST, are not guaranteed for next day shipment and will most likely process on the 2nd day.
Delivery dates may be impacted by extreme weather conditions. In an effort to ensure that your gift arrives on time, we reserve the right to substitute an item of equal or greater value. In making substitutions, we take great care and consideration in selecting gifts that will meet or exceed the expectations of both the gift giver and recipient.
Can I have my Gift delivered over the weekend?
Unless you elect to use a different shipping method to be charged to you, Jody's ships using either USPS or Federal Express Ground. USPS and Federal Express Ground to residential addresses deliver on Saturdays; Federal Express Ground does not deliver business addresses on Saturday.
In what states do I pay taxes?
Jody's is headquartered in Virginia, so any shipments to a Virginia address will be charged Virginia state sales tax.
How do I update an address on my ship-to list?
The best way to make edits to your order is to call or e-mail the requested changes to email@example.com as soon as possible. Please include the order number. We will do our best to accommodate you; however, if the order has already shipped it may be out of our control.
Can I ship to a PO Box?
Yes, gifts can be delivered to a PO Box.
Can I ship gifts to an APO and/or FPO destination?
Jody's strongly supports our Military, and we have made sure that we can send popcorn to our troops through APO and FPO addresses in the United States!
Can I ship gifts to Alaska or Hawaii?
Yes, Jody's delivers gifts to Alaska and Hawaii. These gifts will ship via Priority United States Post Office for an additional $7.95 per gift. Free shipping codes for ground are not applicable for delivery to Alaska, Hawaii or Canada.
What is the shelf life of Jody's gift products?
Most of our popcorn has at least a two-month shelf-life, except for Movie Style, which is at least two weeks.
Can I include a card or enclosure with my gift?
Yes, cards and enclosures can be included with your gift.
Cards and enclosures provided by you must be delivered to Jody's Production Facility at 1160 Millers Lane, Virginia Beach VA 23451, at least five business days before the ship date.
Cards and enclosures can be printed for you and included with your gift for an additional fee. Fees are dependent upon the option(s) that you choose. Please call us to discuss the options!
What are the benefits of using Business Gift Service vs. online ordering?
Both options work well! If you use our Gift Service, you will be assigned a Customer Service Representative for ease of ordering and you can send us an excel spreadsheet of your gift recipients.
